SPEECH AND DEBATE by Bad Habit Productions

Director Rebecca Bradshaw knows how to take Stephen Karam's (Broadway's THE HUMANS) acidic text and bring them to witty, acerbic life in this outstanding production by
Bad Habit Productions.

Evan Vihlen immediately invites us into Howie's lonely world via his facial expressions and body language. His internal thought process is both consistent and credible.

Ross Magnant portrays the conflicted Soloman with both natural ease and intensity. Magnet also knows how to "vomit" quite well!

Katie Elinoff encompasses the complex role of Diwata with proper balance of flair and internal struggle. Her composure and attention to detail are to be noted.

Veronica Anastasio Wiseman's portrayals of teacher and reporter are anchored in reality, and she suggests that these two characters might not be as grounded as they would like themselves to believe.

Costume Designer Amanda Ostrow provides proper use of color and fabric for each personality, and Scenic Designer Megan Kinneen's adaptation of the space is both creative and professional.

Both script and production will offer much to talk about.
